Phantom Folktales, Virgin Voyages
Carly spent 3 months onboard Virgin Voyages in PigPen Theatre Co.’s Phantom Folktales, a set of pop-up performances that appeared all over the ship. The picture shown above was one piece called “Phono Flyers” about two ex-lovers who are busking, to their surprise, in the same area. As they take turns singing their favorite 50s records, things escalate until they are face to face singing the song they used to always sing together.
